Front Lines

Front Lines is a real-time three-lane robot war game where you command a sci-fi army and try to destroy the enemy bunker before they destroy yours.

You fight across three vertical battlefield lanes. Your base is at the bottom, the enemy base is at the top, and both armies automatically march, clash, and push toward the opposing bunker. The match lasts 3 minutes. If neither base is destroyed before time runs out, the player who dealt the most base damage wins.

The game is about fast decisions: when to draft units, where to deploy them, when to save energy, when to defend, and when to commit to a huge push.

Main Goal

Destroy the enemy base.

If time expires, win by dealing more damage to the enemy base than they dealt to yours.

How to Play

  1. Choose a commander tech before the match.
  2. Tap Deploy Army to start.
  3. Tap Draft to add a random unit card to your hand.
  4. Tap a unit card.
  5. Tap one of the three lanes to deploy it.
  6. Use abilities to defend, push, or reset dangerous lanes.
  7. Pick Field Upgrade cards every 30 seconds.
  8. Destroy the enemy base before time runs out.

Energy

Energy is your main resource.

You gain energy automatically over time and spend it on:

  • Drafting units
  • Deploying units
  • Turret shots
  • Shield Wall
  • Unit Boost
  • Orbital Strike

Good players balance spending and saving. If you spend everything drafting, you may not be able to deploy. If you spend everything deploying, you may not have energy for emergency defense.

Units

Drone

Fast, cheap, and fragile.

Good for:

  • quick pressure,
  • chasing weak enemies,
  • slipping through lanes,
  • supporting bigger pushes.

Trooper

Balanced rifle unit.

Good for:

  • steady lane fighting,
  • killing Drones,
  • supporting Mechs,
  • holding pressure.

Mech

Slow, expensive, and powerful.

Good for:

  • breaking defended lanes,
  • soaking damage,
  • area attacks,
  • heavy base damage.

Deploying Units

Units are not chosen directly. You draftunit cards first.

After drafting:

  1. Tap a unit card.
  2. Tap a lane.
  3. The unit deploys and fights automatically.

Each unit also has a small deployment cost based on its strength.

Abilities

Turret

Fires from your base at the lane with the most enemies. Useful for emergency defense, but it has a cost and cooldown.

Shield Wall

Blocks enemy units in one lane for a short time. Your own units can pass through your Shield Wall.

Unit Boost

Temporarily doubles the speed and damage of your current army. Best used when you already have several units deployed.

Orbital Strike

A powerful beam that wipes enemy units in one chosen lane. It is expensive, so use it carefully.

Commander Tech

Before the match, choose one tech:

Reactor

Gain energy faster.

Armor

Start with more base health.

Veteran

Veteran units become stronger.

This choice shapes your strategy for the whole match.

Unit Veterancy

Units can become Veterans by getting kills.

Veteran units gain:

  • more damage,
  • more speed,
  • more survivability.

Protecting a strong veteran unit can win a lane.

Field Upgrade Cards

Every 30 seconds, you choose one of three upgrade cards.

Each card gives a special ability to a troop type. Once picked, that card will not appear again.

Examples:

  • Piercing Shot — Troopers hit a second enemy.
  • Rail Visor — Troopers gain range and damage.
  • Chain Zapper — Drones arc damage into nearby enemies.
  • Afterburn Thrusters — Drones move faster and hit bases harder.
  • Quake Cannon — Mechs create bigger shockwaves.
  • Bulwark Frame — Mechs gain extra armor.

Upgrades affect both current and future units of that type.

Hazards and Supply Drops

Battlefield hazards can appear in random lanes, changing how that lane plays for a short time.

Hazards may:

  • damage units,
  • slow movement,
  • reduce damage,
  • increase damage.

Supply drops also appear in lanes. The first unit to reach one claims a reward such as energy, repair, or a boost.

Winning Tips

  • Don’t spend all your energy at once.
  • Watch all three lanes.
  • Use Shield Wall to stop dangerous pushes.
  • Save Orbital Strike for major threats.
  • Use Unit Boost when you already have an army.
  • Pick upgrades that match the units you use most.
  • Protect veteran units.
  • Use hazards and supply drops to your advantage.

Front Lines is easy to start: draft, deploy, destroy the base. But winning comes from smart timing, lane reading, energy management, and choosing the right upgrades.
